I'm George Ramsay, an independent filmmaker and photographer based in London.

My work is rooted in curiosity, observation and human encounter. Photography taught me to look, research taught me to listen, and filmmaking taught me to construct. Directing is increasingly where those things come together.

I've worked with senior executives, non-professional contributors and communities in the UK and internationally — in the boardroom and the basement, the mud and the marble, and plenty in between.

My approach is documentary-led but purposeful: understand the context, build trust, find the human story and shape it with clarity. I direct and self-shoot across interviews, cinematography, photography and post-production, working lean where appropriate and bringing in specialist crew when the production requires it.

Curious, culturally conscious and reliable under pressure — almost anywhere.
